The solid plywood laptop stand is designed to be set on a desk and raise the screen to an ergonomically favorable height, 10” above the desktop. Made from high-grade 9-ply 12mm (1/2”) birch plywood, UV clear coated with mineral oiled edges. Precision CNC machined. No assembly is required, the two parts just nest together, yin and yang. Holds most any size laptop. Lightweight and soft material that won’t scratch your laptop or your desk. A compact footprint increases the space on your desktop.
Elevates the screen on most laptops by approximately 10” – this places the center of a typical laptop screen at 14” above the desk – a much more comfortable and ergonomically correct height compared to your laptop directly on the desk. The front of the laptop keyboard sets at 5.5” above the desk (when used with a 9.5” x 14” laptop, not included of course). This is a much more ergonomically correct screen height when seated at desk height or with adjustable height desks or stand-up desks. For best results use an external keyboard.
The two parts when properly nested together create an “X” shape with dimensions 8.3” wide x 9.3” deep x 10” high.
